Sergio Jaramillo, MDSergio Jaramillo, MD, FAASM is board-certified in Neurology and certified in Sleep Medicine.

Dr. Jaramillo graduated with honors from The Medical School of the Americas. He completed his internship in internal medicine at Northside Hospital in Youngstown, Ohio before completing a three-year residency in Neurology at Georgetown University Hospital, where he was the chief resident. He also served as Chief Resident at the Veteran’s Affairs Medical Center in Washington D.C. He later completed a fellowship in Sleep Medicine at George Washington University Hospital.

Dr. Jaramillo strives to deliver effective treatment plans for patients with insomnia, sleep apnea, restless leg syndrome, and other frustrating sleep disorders. He also offers a complete menu of general neurology services, including diagnostic testing and treatment for migraines, spinal cord problems, and chronic neurological diseases. Including Alzheimer's disease, Parkinson's Disease, Peripheral Nerve Disease, Myasthenia Gravis, stroke, and others.

Dr. Jaramillo speaks English, Spanish, and French. He’s currently is affiliated with Baptist Health South Florida, Jackson Hospital in Miami, West Kendall Baptist Hospital, and South Miami Hospital. He is also an Associate Professor of Neurology at Florida International University Medical School.
