COVID-19 Preparedness Plan – Prevention Phase

Notification to patients on new policy put in place regarding COVID-19:

In light of the recent CDC announcement regarding the concern for COVID-19 (Coronavirus) transmission within the United States, our office will be taking certain safety steps recommended by the CDC to reduce this public health threat.

If you have an upcoming appointment and any of these conditions below apply to you, we kindly ask that you contact our office so that we may reschedule your appointment or if possible, in some cases, we might be able to schedule for a Telehealth visit.

1. Experiencing symptoms such as fever, cough, shortness of breath, breathing difficulties or flu-like symptoms.
2. If you have traveled outside the United States in the past month.
3. Exposure to someone sick with Covid-19 (Coronavirus) in the last 21 days.

The CDC believes at this time that symptoms of the Coronavirus may appear in as few as 2 days or as long as 21 days after exposure.

Please be aware that any family members/caregivers accompanying you will have the same requirements. Only symptom-free family members will be able to enter the clinic. We greatly appreciate your cooperation and understanding during this time as it is integral to the ongoing public health response to try to slow the spread of the virus.
