9:30 am – 2:00 pm
Roberto Alonso Community Center – 16500 NW 87th Ave, Miami Lakes, FL 33018

The Latino Center on Aging (LCA), in conjunction with the University of Miami Department of Neurology and the American Legion Post 144, Miami Lakes, proudly announces its 14th Annual Conference, “A Life Without Memory: Latinos, Alzheimer’s & Parkinson’s,” to be held on May 13th from 9:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Roberto Alonso Community Center, Miami Lakes.

This year’s program, presented by Victor Faradji, MD, FAAN, and other distinguished guests, will address the growing and often disproportionate impact of Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s disease among Hispanics, while also featuring a special presentation on Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI)—a condition increasingly recognized for its link to long-term cognitive decline and neurological disorders.

The conference will be conducted entirely in Spanish, ensuring accessibility for the community it serves. Lunch will be provided, and registration is free. Attendees are encouraged to reserve their space by visiting lcaflorida.org
